Onsemi to Acquire Synaptics for $7 Billion, Broadening AI and Robotics Focus

Semiconductor company Onsemi has announced an all-stock agreement to purchase Synaptics for approximately $7 billion. This strategic acquisition aims to diversify Onsemi's product portfolio beyond its current sensor and power management offerings.
