Infineon Opens World's Largest Power Semiconductor Fab in Dresden, a €5 Billion Investment

Infineon Technologies AG has opened its Smart Power Fab in Dresden, Germany, several months ahead of schedule. Representing a five-billion-euro investment, the new plant is Infineon's largest single investment and doubles its manufacturing capacities at the Dresden site, establishing it as the world's largest factory for intelligent power semiconductors and analog/mixed-signal technologies.
