SoftBank Plans 10-Gigawatt AI Compute Rental Service in U.S. by 2030

SoftBank Group and its telecom division are preparing to introduce an artificial intelligence computing rental service for U.S. companies, starting next fiscal year. Their new venture, SB Neo, aims to provide AI chips and cloud services. The company intends to significantly expand its data center capacity to 10 gigawatts by approximately 2030 to support extensive AI model training and inference.
