Samsung Introduces UFS 5.0 Storage Standard for Next-Generation AI-Powered Mobile Devices

Samsung has officially launched its UFS 5.0 embedded flash storage solution, specifically designed for upcoming AI-powered smartphones, tablets, and XR devices. This new standard delivers substantial improvements over UFS 4.0, offering sequential read speeds up to 10.8GB/s, write speeds up to 9.5GB/s, approximately 40% better power efficiency, and a 16.7% smaller physical package.
