Samsung and SK Hynix Reportedly Seek China-Free Chip Tool Buffer

Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are reportedly accelerating efforts to reduce China's role in their semiconductor supply chains. This move is in anticipation of potentially tighter US export controls, leading them to restructure sourcing and replace some Chinese-made tools with alternatives from South Korea, the US, and other countries.
