Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 has identified a "bucket hijacking" technique, described as a fundamental architectural flaw, that impacts major cloud service providers. This vulnerability allows an attacker to silently compromise an organization's active data streams by deleting and recreating a storage bucket under their own account with the same globally unique name, rerouting critical logs and sensitive data.
