Japan's Noetra Consortium to Build Sovereign AI Stack on NVIDIA Chips for Physical AI and Robotics

A Japanese consortium, including SoftBank, Sony, and Honda, is planning to establish a large sovereign AI computing project. This initiative will be built on tens of thousands of NVIDIA's next-generation chips to develop homegrown multimodal models for physical AI and robotics, with construction slated to begin next year.
