Northrop Grumman Deploys Robotic Vehicle for Autonomous In-Space Satellite Servicing

Northrop Grumman, in collaboration with DARPA, has launched a pioneering Mission Robotic Vehicle alongside three Mission Extension Pods. This initiative is designed to establish autonomous capabilities for servicing satellites in space, including extending their operational lifespan and refueling. The project aims to significantly improve the resilience and sustainability of space-based assets through AI-enabled operations.
