Bangladesh Inaugurates First National Semiconductor Summit to Boost Deep-Tech Innovation

Bangladesh is hosting its inaugural 'National Semiconductor Symposium and Biomedical, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Summit 2026' on July 25-26. The event, inaugurated by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, aims to position the country as a global hub for semiconductor manufacturing and deep-tech innovation. Organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association, and Silicon River, the summit will focus on building a robust semiconductor ecosystem, exploring opportunities in AI, biotechnology, robotics, and fostering international technology partnerships.
