Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 Agents Uncover 19 Redis Zero-Day Vulnerabilities and Develop Exploits

Researcher Chaofan Shou reported that swarms of Moonshot's open-weight Kimi K3 AI agents discovered 19 zero-day vulnerabilities in Redis within approximately 90 minutes, subsequently producing a working remote code execution exploit for Redis 8.8.0 in an additional 27 minutes. Redis had previously released seven security updates on July 23rd addressing various builds.
