Synopsys, AMD, and Microsoft Collaborate to Advance Agentic AI Workflows for Chip Design

Synopsys has announced new autonomous agentic AI workflows for chip design, developed in collaboration with Microsoft and available for evaluation on Microsoft Discovery. These workflows, which are also being used by AMD, aim to accelerate chip design by extending agentic AI from task automation to long-running engineering execution, with initial results showing up to a 40% reduction in debug cycle time.
