Microsoft AI Launches MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, a New Cybersecurity AI Model for MDASH

Microsoft AI has released MAI-Cyber-1-Flash, its first cybersecurity-specific AI model, integrated into MDASH (Microsoft's multi-model agentic scanning harness). The company reports that MDASH, utilizing MAI-Cyber-1-Flash alongside GPT-5.4, achieved a 95.95% score on CyberGym at half the cost of previous configurations. This model is designed to handle up to 90% of MDASH tasks, enhancing vulnerability identification and remediation.
