Xsight Labs Raises Over $300 Million to Challenge Nvidia in AI Data Center Networking

Israeli chipmaker Xsight Labs has raised more than $300 million at a $2.8 billion valuation to develop open, programmable chips for AI data center networking. Xsight's E1 processor and X2 switch aim to address the bottleneck of data movement between GPUs, servers, memory, and networks, directly challenging Nvidia's dominance in this critical layer of AI infrastructure. The company's open and programmable approach, running standard Linux and SONiC, offers an alternative to closed architectures.
