Linde to Invest $1 Billion in U.S. Semiconductor Manufacturing Expansion

Linde has announced a new long-term agreement to supply ultra-high-purity industrial gases to a major semiconductor manufacturer in Phoenix, Arizona. The company will invest $1 billion to expand its existing on-site industrial gases complex, supporting two new semiconductor fabrication facilities. An additional $800 million investment is planned for new facilities in Taiwan.
