ASIP Breaks Ground on ₹2,500 Crore Semiconductor Facility in Visakhapatnam, India

ASIP Technologies has commenced construction on a new semiconductor manufacturing facility in Visakhapatnam, India, with an investment of ₹2,500 crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the project, which marks South India's first India Semiconductor Mission (ISM)-approved OSAT manufacturing plant. The facility, developed in partnership with South Korea's APACT Co., will have an annual production capacity of 96 million chips for AI, HPC, data centers, and high-speed communications.
