A cybersecurity researcher uncovered an unsecured "Dynamic Control Platform for Overseas Personnel" used by the Zhangjiakou Public Security Bureau in China. The dashboard tracked over 700 foreign residents, including journalists, and contained nearly 12,000 entries, integrating data from surveillance cameras, medical records, flight information, and facial recognition from ski resorts, highlighting extensive AI-powered surveillance capabilities.
