SK Telecom's AI Data Center Revenue Nearly Doubles, Driving 67% Q2 Operating Profit Jump

SK Telecom reported a 67.3% year-on-year increase in its second-quarter operating profit, largely fueled by a 92.5% surge in its AI data center (AIDC) revenue, reaching 136.2 billion won. The company plans to expand its AI data center capacity to 5GW by 2029 through its dedicated unit, SK Hyper.
