Volta Raises $300M at $2.4B Valuation with Nvidia and Dell Backing, Secures $10B Cloud Deal

Volta, a seven-month-old company focused on building AI infrastructure, has secured $300 million in venture funding at a $2.4 billion valuation, with participation from Nvidia and Michael Dell. The company also lined up $5 billion in customer financing to help AI companies acquire Nvidia's GPU infrastructure and signed a $10 billion, six-year cloud computing contract with an unnamed AI developer, delivered in partnership with Bitdeer Technologies through a 133 MW data center in Norway. This significant investment aims to tackle the soaring upfront costs of AI infrastructure.
