Teleoperated Humanoid Robots Successfully Complete Live Surgeries in Preclinical Trials

For the first time, two teleoperated humanoid robots have successfully completed two surgeries during a preclinical trial on large non-primate mammals. Researchers at the University of California San Diego reported that one procedure involved a human-robot team performing a gallbladder removal, while another saw two humanoid robots working together.
