SpaceX Plans $16.8 Billion Semiconductor Fabrication Facility in Texas

SpaceX is investing over $16.8 billion to establish a new semiconductor fabrication plant, named 'Terafab,' in Grimes County, Texas. This facility will integrate logic, memory, and advanced packaging production, aiming to significantly increase domestic chip manufacturing capacity. The project is also expected to create 3,000 new jobs in the region.
