Intel's New Core 5 320 Chip Reportedly Matches Apple Silicon in Energy Efficiency

New benchmarks suggest that Intel's Core 5 320 chip, featured in Dell's latest XPS 13 laptop, has achieved energy efficiency comparable to Apple Silicon. Testing on a version of the Top500 benchmark showed the Dell XPS 13 achieving 6.21 Gflops/W, surpassing the MacBook Neo's 5.38 Gflops/W and even outperforming M3 and M4 Mac Studios in some metrics. This marks a significant development in the x86 architecture's competitive standing against ARM in power consumption.
