Q-CTRL Achieves 100-Qubit Quantum Fourier Transform on IBM Hardware, Doubling Previous Record

Q-CTRL researchers have successfully demonstrated a 100-qubit Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT) on IBM Quantum computers, marking the largest experimental QFT on any quantum hardware to date by a factor of two. This advancement, achieved through a novel compilation strategy, addresses error accumulation and routing overhead challenges in large-scale quantum subroutines.
