IBM and Together AI Partner in $240M Deal to Scale Open-Source AI Inference with NVIDIA Infrastructure on IBM Cloud

IBM has announced a multi-year, $240 million collaboration with Together AI to deploy a large cluster of NVIDIA HGX B300 systems on IBM Cloud. This infrastructure, expected to be available in Q1 2027, will be dedicated to providing open-source model inference, aiming to deliver enhanced performance and token economics for enterprises scaling their AI deployments. This marks the first dedicated, large-scale inference cluster on IBM Cloud using HGX B300 systems.
