Agencies Issue Warning on Global Gunra Ransomware Exploiting Fortinet and Schneider Electric Vulnerabilities

Cybersecurity agencies from the U.S. and South Korea have released a joint advisory concerning the global spread of Gunra ransomware. The attackers are exploiting known vulnerabilities, specifically CVE-2024-55591 and CVE-2025-24472 in Fortinet products, and CVE-2024-5559 in Schneider Electric PowerLogic P5. This ransomware engages in data exfiltration for double extortion, affecting various sectors worldwide, posing a significant threat to organizational security.
