Island Computing to Launch India's First Fully Managed Sovereign Cloud

Island Computing announced that its fully managed sovereign cloud platform will become generally available in India on August 15, 2026. This platform is designed to keep data centers, hardware, operations, and data planes within India under local laws, offering rapid environment provisioning and application deployment, and aiming to support India's growing tech economy and regulatory needs at a significantly lower cost than foreign providers.
