ROHM Introduces 4th Generation 650V IGBTs with Industry-Leading Low Loss for Automotive and Industrial Applications

ROHM has developed new 4th Generation 650V IGBTs, optimized for automotive electric compressors and HV heaters, as well as industrial equipment inverters. These automotive-grade products achieve class-leading low conduction loss (VCE(sat)= 1.55V) while maintaining high short-circuit tolerance and complying with the AEC-Q101 automotive reliability standard. The redesigned device structure enhances current density and reduces conduction and switching losses, contributing to higher efficiency and miniaturization in target applications.
