Nvidia and Supermicro Staff Indicted in Taiwan Over Illegal AI Server Exports

Taiwanese authorities have indicted nine individuals, including employees from Nvidia's Taiwan unit and Supermicro's Taiwan unit, for their alleged involvement in the illegal export of high-end AI servers to China. The charges include breach of trust and document forgery, with prosecutors stating the scheme involved 130 of Nvidia's flagship B300 servers and 'seriously damaging Taiwan's international image.'
