China Advances Semiconductor Technology and Production

China's National Development and Reform Commission announced significant progress in semiconductor technology, including high-end chip design, manufacturing, advanced packaging, and memory. Domestic wafer foundries operated at over 90% capacity in H1 2026, expanding production for automotive and industrial chips, which strengthens the nation's supply chain.
