Anthropic Introduces Standard for AI-Hardware Interaction

Anthropic has launched its Model Hardware Standard (MHS), a new software framework in research preview. MHS aims to improve how AI assistants, such as Claude, understand and interact with physical hardware like robots, scientific instruments, and manufacturing equipment. This initiative seeks to enable safer and more effective AI integration into real-world applications by providing structured information on hardware operation.
