This marks a significant upgrade to Apple's desktop lineup in the region, with pre-orders having opened on August 25, 2026, and retail availability expected by September 22, 2026. The M6 chip includes a 12-core CPU, 12-core GPU, and a dual Neural Engine, offering up to 40% faster CPU performance and 4x faster AI tasks compared to the M5 chip.
