Google Meet rolls out direct control for Gemini 'Take notes for me' feature on hardware controllers

Google is beginning the rollout of a new feature for Google Meet hardware touch controllers, allowing in-room participants to directly start, stop, and manage the Gemini-powered 'Take notes for me' functionality. This enhancement provides users with more control over AI features during meetings without needing to use Companion mode.
