Microsoft to Launch New Cloud Datacenter Region in Saudi Arabia East in November

Microsoft has announced that its new cloud datacenter region in Saudi Arabia, named Saudi Arabia East, will become available to customers in November. This region, comprising three availability zones for Microsoft Azure, will enable government entities and private-sector organizations to host data and run cloud workloads and AI applications locally. The investment aims to strengthen local innovation, enhance data security and governance, and support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 for economic diversification and establishing the Kingdom as a global technology and AI hub.
