Uber and Wayve Launch Supervised Autonomous Ride-Hailing Service in London

Uber and Wayve have launched the first supervised autonomous rides in the United Kingdom, making self-driving trips available to Londoners. Riders requesting UberX, Uber Electric, or Uber Comfort may be matched with an all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E equipped with Wayve's AI Driver, overseen by a trained safety driver.
