Sivers Semiconductors Invests $30 Million to Expand Photonics Manufacturing for AI Datacenters

Sivers Semiconductors AB announced a $30 million strategic investment to significantly expand its Indium Phosphide (InP) manufacturing facility in Glasgow, Scotland. This expansion aims to support anticipated customer production ramps driven by growing AI datacenter and optical networking demand, with the facility expected to support annual production of over 100 million CW DFB lasers upon completion.
