SEMI, the global industry association, reported a 23% year-over-year increase in worldwide semiconductor equipment billings for the second quarter of 2026, reaching US$40.53 billion. This marks a second consecutive record quarter, primarily fueled by accelerating demand for technology and capacity solutions to support ongoing AI investments and the global expansion of AI computing infrastructure.
