Sivers Semiconductors Expands European Manufacturing for AI Data Center Demand

Sivers Semiconductors is investing $30 million to expand its indium phosphide manufacturing facility in Glasgow, Scotland. This expansion aims to meet the anticipated production demand from AI datacenters and optical networking, with operations expected to begin in late 2026 and become fully operational by Q4 2027. The investment will support annual production of over 100 million continuous wave distributed feedback lasers, highlighting growth in AI infrastructure components.
