Nvidia to Acquire AI Developer Platform Hugging Face for Nearly $13 Billion

Nvidia has agreed to acquire the AI developer platform Hugging Face for approximately $12.9 billion. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that Hugging Face will remain an open platform for the entire AI ecosystem, with Nvidia's compute not being a requirement for building or deploying through it.
