Sivers Semiconductors is investing $30 million to significantly expand its indium phosphide (InP) manufacturing facility in Glasgow, Scotland. This expansion, set to begin in late 2026 and become operational in Q4 2027, is driven by anticipated customer production ramps for AI datacenter and optical networking demand, aiming to support annual production of over 100 million continuous wave distributed feedback lasers.
