AMD Unveils Threadripper Halo Station, Bringing Supercomputer-Class AI Compute to Workstations

AMD introduced the Threadripper Halo Station at IFA 2026, a liquid-cooled workstation powered by the 96-core Threadripper PRO 9995WX CPU and up to four AMD Instinct MI350P accelerators. This system is designed to run AI models with over a trillion parameters locally, without cloud connectivity, aiming to provide individual users and developers with supercomputer-class compute capabilities.
