Google Patches Actively Exploited Chrome V8 Zero-Day Vulnerability (CVE-2026-85046)

Google has released Chrome 152.0.7977.82/.83 to address CVE-2026-85046, a type-confusion flaw in the V8 JavaScript engine. This vulnerability could enable remote code execution within Chrome's sandboxed renderer, and Google has confirmed that an exploit for it exists in the wild, marking it as the sixth actively exploited Chrome zero-day.
