China's leading DRAM manufacturer, CXMT, has officially announced the mass production of its LPDDR6 memory, achieving a peak data rate of 12,800Mbps. This next-generation memory is making its commercial debut in Xiaomi's new Xiaomi 18 Fold flagship foldable smartphone. CXMT claims its LPDDR6 offers up to 60% higher peak bandwidth and 20% lower power consumption compared to LPDDR5X running at 10,667Mbps.
