The chip debuts in the HUAWEI Mate XT 2 Ultimate, a new tri-folding smartphone, which Huawei claims offers a 42% overall performance improvement over its predecessor. The Kirin 9050 Pro utilizes a two-layer vertical stacking architecture based on Tao Law technology, increasing transistor density and improving performance with features like Lingxi CPU hyperthreading and hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing.
