Samsung Celebrates Full Opening of Yokohama Chip Research Hub

Samsung Electronics has fully opened its semiconductor research base in Yokohama, Japan, aiming to enhance cooperation with Japanese material and equipment makers and research institutes amid increasing demand for high-end chips driven by AI. The base, established in 2023 for back-end process technology development, is now capable of full-scale experiments and evaluations.
