OpenAI's AI System Reportedly Resolves Key Parts of 90-Year-Old Navier–Stokes Math Problem

OpenAI announced that its AI system, leveraging a network of approximately 10,000 autonomous artificial intelligence agents, successfully tackled significant aspects of the long-standing Navier–Stokes existence and smoothness problem in 88 hours. The computational effort, powered by a new internal AI model, involved exchanging nearly 3 million messages and generating about 130 billion output tokens.
