Microsoft Patches Record 974 Security Flaws, Including Two Exploited Windows Zero-Days

Microsoft released a record-breaking 974 security updates across its software portfolio, including fixes for two Windows zero-day vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-81963 and CVE-2026-85880) that are actively being exploited in the wild. This September Patch Tuesday addresses a total of 999 vulnerabilities when including non-Microsoft CVEs.
