Google to Invest €13 Billion in Finland for AI and Digital Infrastructure Expansion

Google has announced plans to invest at least €13 billion in digital infrastructure in Finland over the next two years (2027-2028). This significant investment includes expanding data centers and supporting infrastructure in Hamina, Kajaani, Muhos, and Vaala. The initiative aims to deepen Google's commitment to Europe, accelerate Finland's AI ambitions by providing low-latency access to AI and cloud services, and support local digital readiness and innovation.
