Google Announces €13 Billion Investment in Finnish AI Infrastructure

Google is making its largest single investment in Europe with a €13 billion commitment to expand its AI infrastructure in Finland. This two-year initiative (2027-2028) is projected to contribute an annual average of €3.6 billion to Finland's GDP and support over 37,000 jobs during the construction phase, with 7,000 operational jobs annually thereafter. The investment also includes funding for AI education programs to upskill the local workforce.
