Xpeng Launches World's First Automated Humanoid Robot Production Line

Xpeng has revealed a highly automated production line for its IRON humanoid robots, where robots are used to assemble other robots, automating over 80% of core processes. The company plans for mass production of IRON by the end of 2026, with initial deployments in Xpeng stores and campuses. The IRON robot features 76 degrees of freedom and 2,250 TOPS of computing power from its in-house Turing AI chips.
