OpenAI Launches Agents API and Secures Major AI Computing Deal with U.S. Government

OpenAI has introduced an 'Agents API,' a fully managed service designed to allow developers to deploy production-ready AI agents with a single API call. Concurrently, OpenAI and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced a multi-year agreement to provide ChatGPT for Government at reduced costs, including access to advanced cyber-defender programs for federal, state, local, and tribal governments.
