Besxar, a startup founded by a former OpenAI engineer, has commenced testing semiconductor manufacturing in space using SpaceX's Falcon 9. The initiative aims to leverage microgravity and vacuum conditions to produce high-quality compound wafers, reducing the need for expensive Earth-based cleanrooms.
